enough snacks to get you through the week

this is what it takes to get you through a week of karma yoga – lots of chocolate, lots of honey waffles, and some English Breakfast tea! πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Keith/Keshava, just wanted to say I enjoyed reading your blog. I can share some of your sentiments….I’m a Sivananda yoga practitioner who’s currently working as a trainee doctor in Accident and Emergency….it’s bloody hard, 6 days a week, every weekend, loads of nights shifts and 12 hours days….I long for my day off too. Also get sweets/snacks cravings when it’s been a hard day. I was a karma yogi while staying at one of Sivananda centres a few years ago…that was incredibly hard. Well done for doing it. Remember, what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. πŸ™‚ That’s what I tell myself after a rough day anyway. Good luck!

    1. Hi. πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by. And thanks for the support. I couldn’t imagine doing what you’re doing. Seems like a lot of hard work, harder than the Karma Yoga I reckon. I gave up my shift work to come here, and I know which I prefer.
Good luck yourself with the A&E training. Do you find your yoga practice helps you do your work? Keeps your strength up?
Stop by again for more yoga related shenanigans. Going to be getting up to some interesting stuff soon (I hope). Just a couple of weeks and the adventure begins! πŸ™‚
      Om Om. K

    1. ..hehe.. V-curious, ;o)
So, another convert to the fold (maybe). Yup, keep on with that soya milk. And if you need it I’ve got an excellent recipe for fake bacon that’s just like the real thing (almost… kind of, lol).
